Formerly known as Don Severino (delas Alas) Agricultural College (DSAC). Cavite State University was established in the year 1906. With the first teachers, Thomasites, the University begun as an intermediate school. And by the Republic Act of 8486, the college was then named again to, Cavite State University on January 22, 1988. Behind the university post, is the Landmark of Cavite State University, Laya at Diwa Monument, which signifies the University's motto, Truth, Excellence and Service.
